Making Toppers With Glass Paints

“Bird Song”

This Bird card was such a joy to make. Choosing the papers and embellishments was fun and alluring. I used a Glass Painted Bird Topper that I had made a few ago. I simply used the Decorfin Relief Paint to draw the image (taken from a cardigan of my darling daughters) and also for the two pastel green flowers using the White Opaque mixed with Green. Then once dry filled in the simple shapes with White Opaque, Black and Light Blue. One the glass paint was fully touch dry I adhered to some decorative Papermania Hot Red paper with some ribbon to suit and added on paper roses to finish along with a sentiment of my own “Bird Song”. I finished with decorating the inside also as feel that doing this just completes the card.

 Below shows the inside decorated.
